My name is Danielle Dalton. I am a mom of 2 amazing boys, a military wife, an accomplished business consultant, a lover of yummy wine and an intro Sommelier.
My introduction to wine began because of Olivia Pope! I would host girls nights and have Scandal Watch Parties. Girls night was hella classy. It consisted of bruschetta and Trader Joe's (TJ's) "Pig Wine" for $3.99. Danielle's Note: "Pig Wine" is actually called La Granja, which is Tempranillo, and it's still sold at TJ's currently today. Over the years, I have since grown from $4 bottles and have been able to try Somm amazing and well rounded wine. The more wine that I tasted the more it peaked my curiosity regarding wine regions and how wine is made. keep writing.
I created Somm Damn Good Wine because I want to share my passion of trying new bottles, comparing grape varieties produced in different regions, and discovering wine produced in vineyards off the unbeaten wine path.
I'm going to keep sharing my journey...Sign up to read my latest post!
